Chase Freedom Unlimited is a cashback credit card which offers average cashback opportunities for consumers. There is also $150 cash back bonus with the card. The card is very good when you are using it in 15 months introductory period. However when this period comes to end, things are going to change for you. Since the card got many good reviews on promotional websites, you can think that it’s very profitable. We don’t promote any company or a card on Credit Cards Center unless we want to promote a card with our own decision. We are going to tell how it is profitable or not.

Despite of many praises for this card on credit card review websites, we got some interesting compare results here. If you are using all features of a card it means that this can be a total loss for you. Actually if you even eliminate some facts (such as foreign transactions or balance transfers, you are going to get similar results.

Since Chase Freedom Unlimited doesn’t provide any other additional services, it doesn’t look like a profitable choice.

First National Bank Visa Credit Card

Review

First National Bank Visa Credit Card is a simple card that you can use for rewards. The card is providing low interest rates for consumers except Cash Advance. APR for purchases and balance transfers is 16.74% in the card. There is no annual fee in the card. You won’t need to pay every year for the card. Cash advance fee and balance transfer is good.

2% foreign transaction fee is the downside of the card. Minimum $10 payment for cash advance and balance transfer could be $5 for the card. Cash Advance APR is also a little bit high for this card.

First Citizens Smart Option Visa Card

Review

First Citizens Smart Option Visa Card is a simple credit card with reasonable APR rates and no annual fee. Balance transfer and cash advance fee rates are very good in the card. However Cash Advance APR is a little bit high. There are not also much promotions on this card. There are no bonuses, rewards points and cash backs. You will pay 2% foreign transaction fee with First Citizens Smart Option Visa Card.

There is also 0% APR for 12 months for balance transfers. The regular APR for balance transfer is 9.99% – 20.99%. This depends on your creditworthiness. If you think that your creditworthiness is not well, you can also check some alternative cards which offers certain APR below 12%. We have mentioned about those recently on Credit Cards Center.

First Citizens Rewards Visa Card has 3 different tiers. You can get cashbacks, rewards points or 50% more rewards points with those tiers. You can select one of those programs while you are having the credit card. All APR and fees are same for those tiers but only type of rewards are different.

Earn Rewards: Earn rewards is one of those tiers of the credit card. You can 1 reward point per $1 purchase. No annual fee.

Accelerate Your Earnings: The most profitable tier of the card. You gain 1.5 rewards points per $1. Yearly fee is $50. (Waived first year.)

Unlimited Cash Back: You can earn 1% cashback for every purchases with this tier. You can redeem cashbacks to your saving account. No annual fee.

12.99% – 23.99% balance transfer and purchase APR is at fair rate. However if your creditworthiness is not good, the maximum rate is a little bit high. Cash advance fee is a little bit high for this card. 3% balance transfer fee and 3% cash advance fee is very good. You will need to pay 2% more for every foreign transactions.
