BBVA Rewards Credit Card Review

You can find a detailed review of the card below. We investigated each feature of BBVA Rewards Card and we provide our own thoughts for you. If you have any experiences with the card, please leave a review.

Rewards and Bonus

BBVA Rewards Card is providing good options to get rewards points. The regular rate is 1.5 reward points at every purchase. However, if you ever deposit $1000 to your bank account, you will increase your rewards points to 2 for every purchase. There is no limit on this and you can gain 2% rewards points with depositing $1000 to your BBVA deposit account every month. I believe if you are going to work with BBVA for your financials, this opportunity can be very good for you. However, we recommend you to be careful about the interest rate of the card. We are going to mention this at APR and Fees section below. Earn hassle-free rewards across ALL purchase categories, every time and everywhere.

Unfortunately, there is not any good bonus for the card at this time. If BBVA can do a good sign-up promotion for this card, it will be more attractive for consumers.

BBVA Rewards Card Fees and APR

If your creditworthiness is not very good, the APR amount can be high with this card. If it is good, it is going to be very low. More than 30 percent annual interest rate can be quite problematic for consumers despite good rewards rates. APR is 13.24% to 31.24%. There is not 0% APR promotion of credit card for purchases but it is available for balance transfers for 13 months. However, if you would like to have %0 interest rate for balance transfers. This is available in BBVA Rewards Cards.

There is no annual fee of the card and we always like no annual fee cards. Because no annual fee cards are always making rewards more beneficial for consumers.

If you are purchasing abroad very often, you will need to make 3% extra payments with the card for each of your foreign transactions. The maximum cash advance fee and the balance transfer fee is average. Their rate is 4%. However minimum payment is $10 and this is above the average.

Thoughts

BBVA Rewards Card is not a bad card if you have a good credit score. It depends on your APR much. If you get this card with APR more than 20 percent, it won’t worth it despite 2x rewards. We recommend you to talk to a banker of BBVA before applying to the card and learn possibilities about APR rates first. If there was an introductory period on purchases, this card could be a good opportunity for consumers.

Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card

Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card

Review

Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card is one of the most popular credit cards in United States. This card helps you to rebuild credit and build credit. There are some good advantages and also some disadvantages of the card for consumers. We are going to mention about those for in our reviews.

Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card Interest Rates

The card’s purchase APR is 20.99% and this is not a bad rate for secured credit card. Of course there are better options but this is almost below average and this is good. If you want a card for rebuilding credit quick, this card can be a good option for you with this purchase rate.

Balance transfer interest rate is same with purchase and this rate is not also bad as well. However there can be small promotions for interest rates of the card for making it beneficial for consumers. Discover it Secured has good opportunities at credit build credit cards. There can be some good options similar to Discover cards.

Cash Advance Rate is unfortunately is very high. We recommend you to not to have this service with your card. Cash Advance APR is 25.99% of Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card. This can be a serious problem for you when you want to pay your bills.

Bonus, Rewards & Cash Backs

Secured credit cards are not generally providing bonus, rewards and cash backs to consumers. There are a few exceptions though. However Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card doesn’t also provide any bonus, rewards or cash backs. If you are seeking these options in secured card, you don’t have much options though.

Fees

Annual Fee of the card is $29. This is not very much. Actually it is good for consumers when you compare it with other secured cards in United States.

Foreign transaction fee of the Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card is 3%. We don’t like foreign transaction fees at credit cards. However this feature is very optional for your choice. I mean if you are purchasing from abroad very often, you will need to pay 3% extra for your each payments. So this card won’t be very beneficial for you. If you don’t purchase from abroad or online shops with foreign currency, you can ignore this feature of the card.

Cash advance fee is minimum $10 and maximum 5%. These fees are very high and sometimes they can be much higher than interest rates. We recommend you to no to use this card for cash advances.

Balance transfer is also same with Cash Advance. Just the minimum fee is $5 which is average.

Thoughts

If you want to build a credit history or if you are seeking to rebuild your credit, Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card is going to help you about that. However you will need to think about foreign transaction, cash advance, balance transfer fees before applying the card. The cash advance APR is also very high.

We believe that Wells Fargo should make some improvements for the card. Since Discover it has released secured cards with very good bonus and rewards opportunities, consumers are interested with that card more than Wells Fargo Secured. However purchase APR and Balance Transfer APR are still making this card very attractive for consumers. If you have no business with transfers and cash advances, this card can be a good choice for you. It is because both operations have very high interest rates. Please don’t forget to consider foreign transaction fee of the card, if you purchase from abroad very often.

You can watch the video below which has been published by company to learn more about this product.

You will need to deposit some cash to create your credit limit with this card. Eg: If you deposit $300 , your credit limit will be 300 dollars with secured credit card. $25 dollars annual fee is very reasonable for a secured credit card. $600 worth phone protection is also available and there are also travelling goods.

Cash Backs and APR

If you don’t want to pay much for cards, we recommend you to consider about Wells Fargo.

%0 APR for 6 months is very good opportunity for students. This introductory period is for purchases and transfers. Cash Advance APR is 25.99% for the card which is already rate at almost all Wells Fargo cards. This is still very high though. Regular APR for purchase and balance transfer is 13.15%-23.15%. The minimum rate is quite good but the maximum rate is something you should consider. If your Wells Fargo College Credit Card has APR more than 20%, your interest rates can be high monthly.

Wells Fargo Rewards Card

Wells Fargo Rewards Card

Review

You can find a detailed review of Wells Fargo Rewards Card below. We investigated all facts of the card and shared our opinions about all features of the card.

Wells Fargo Rewards Card APR and Bonuses

15 months no APR is really good for the card. This introductory APR is valid for transfers and purchases. Cash Advance rates and regular purchase & balance transfer rates of the card is very high though. You cans see these rates at the table below.

There is not any direct sign up bonus of the card but there is a high signup bonus rewards for all purchases in first 6 months. This is limited with $12500 purchases. So you can earn 5x rewards for gas, drugstore and grocery purchases. It is making this card beneficial for some time. However you will need to math your 6 months purchases in these categories first. We recommend you to calculate all your monthly purchases and see if this credit card beneficial for you.

Fees and Rewards

As we have mentioned above you are going to earn 5x rewards in the first 6 months. After 6 months later, your rewards rate is going to decrease 1x and this is quite low. Foreign transaction fee can be problem for you if you are purchasing from abroad or foreign online shops. You will need to pay 3% fee for your each foreign transactions. There is not any annual fee of the card. This is one of upsides.

Balance transfer fee and cash advance fee are also high. However there is an introductory balance transfer fee for 120 days. It is minimum $5 and maximum 3%.

Thoughts

This credit card is designed to be a rewards credit card by Wells Fargo. However the huge disadvantagement of this card is high interest rates. We recommend this card for only those who doesn’t care for APR. We recommend it for those who wants to get rewards points from their purchases in short term usage.

Wells Fargo Visa Signature Credit Card has far better features than rewards card. It is already provide the same rewards points for their users but it has much lower interest rates than Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card.  There are also good travelling promotions and opportunities for Signature Card. So we recommend you to check it first, before applying to Rewards Card.

You will able to gain 5x rewards points. There is no annual fee and there is not any APR for 15 months. Besides points that you earned can redeemable for airfare with 50% better value. So if you can maximize your 6 month bonus rewards to 93750 points for airfare. It worth about 938$ dollars. This is not a sign up bonus exactly but it worth more than a sign up bonus.

Wells Fargo is also providing 1x rewards for your each purchases. Your rewards will remain in your account for 5 years. The other good feature of this card is phone protection. Your phone will be secure against thefts and damages with the phone protection option. The insurance is $600 worth for the phone protection.

However after introductory period and when you are done with signup bonuses this card can be quite expensive for you because fees are also high. There is foreign transaction fee with 3% rate, Cash Advance Fee with 5% rate and also balance transfer fee with 5% in the card.

Thoughts

This is a credit card which will be beneficial for you for the short term. If you go on to use the card after 15 months later, you are going to have low rewards, high APRs and fees.

Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa

Review

You can find a detailed review for Wells Fargo Cash Wise card below. You can find our opinions for each facts of the card and you can also see user reviews below. Feel free to review this card and also ask questions about it.

Wells Fargo Cash Wise APR and Bonuses

There is no APR for a year when you get this card. Phone protection feature is also a  good features which can attract you to have this card. It worth about $600 insurance.  There is $200 sign-up bonus available with Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa. Regular APRs of the card is above the average. Cash Advance APR and all other rates are too high as well.

Fees and Rewards

Unfortunately there is foreign transaction fee of the card with 3% rate. This is a feature which we dislike. However if you don’t purchase from abroad or foreign online shops, you don’t need to worry about this. This feature only concerns those who are generally purchasing from abroad.

Cash Advance Fee and Balance Transfer Fee are too high with 5% rate. These rates can affect your payment performance if you are planning to use this card for Cash Advance and Balance Transfer. This can even be higher than interest rates at times. We generally warn you about these fees at times. We recommend you to check better alternatives if you will balance transfer and cash advance.

There is no annual fee of the card. This is one of upsides of the card. Generally credit cards in this category asks for annual fee more than $100. This is one of advantages of Cash Wise. So you should consider this fact if you want to get a cash back credit card.

The card is providing 1.5% cash back for every purchases. This is the average amount for United States but if you need a credit card for every purchases, this card can be profitable for you. This card is generally good for general expenses. If you want to have cash back card for a certain category, you will need to look for an alternative one. However please also don’t forget that, there are more consumer friendly cards more than Wells Fargo Cash Wise at the moment. Regions Premium Credit Card is one of those cards with low interest opportunities and similar rewards points system.

Thoughts

Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa is very good for those who wants to have a cash back credit card. This card offering promising 1,5% cash back rewards for you. Your rewards will never expire until you cancel your card. However the card is not providing many services for Wells Fargo clients. You can also find more information about those in Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa reviews below.

Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Card Reviews

Review

You can find a detailed review for each facts of Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card below. We are going to discuss interest rates, rewards, bonuses and fees of the card. If you would like to ask us anything regarding our review, please let us know with commenting this page.

Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card Fees & Rewards

Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Credit Card is one of the most famous credit card products of the Wells Fargo. It is also an amazing travel card which provides 3x rewards points for flights, hotels, transits, etc. The gas rewards points is also 3x which makes this card very good. There is no annual fee of the card and also No APR for purchases and balance transfers for 12 months.

There is a transaction fee at foreign purchases with the card. The rate of the payment is 3% and it is too much. You will need to make these payments for each purchases you make from abroad or foreign shops.

There is no annual fee of the card. That will help you to save a little bit.

Rates and Bonuses

0% introductory APR for 12 months is very good. Then the APR is going to be 14.49% – 26.99%. If you have a good credit score and if you get 26.99%, this is going to be too much for you. If you are planning to use this card for long-term, you should think twice about the rates. Cash Advance rates are already very high.

The card is providing 30000 sign-up rewards points and this is very good. The amount of sign-up bonus is making card beneficial for consumers at short-term usage. The card is also one of the best sign-up bonus cards in our list. There is not too much credit cards that can offer 30000 rewards points to consumers.

There is also intro balance transfer fee for first 4 months. You are going to pay 3% for transfers with the card. However then you will need to pay 5%. The regular transfer fee is high. We believe that if Wells Fargo determines the normal fees as 3%, the card is going to be more profitable for consumers.

Cash advance fee rate is 5% for the card and this is very high for this card. We generally recommend 3% rate at the least to consumers who are cash advance too often. 5% rate for each cash advance can be a problem for you with interest rates.

Wells Fargo Propel Credit Score

Recommended Credit Score: 700 minimum

You will need to higher credit score than 670 at the least for hope to get this card. If you have lower credit score, you will want to take a look at alternative credit cards. There are also good promotions of FNBO, Regions Bank and Capital One. You can take a look at those options. Chase is also another company which can be a good alternative.

Unfortunately there is not any long-term reward cards like this in Wells Fargo. You can earn massive rewards with Visa Signature credit card of the company. You can check the that card alternatively.

Thoughts

The card offering good rewards points for their users especially at necessary purchases. See how much bonus you can get with what kind of purchases in the pros table above. However cash advance APR and Purchase APR are very high on the card. Fees are also very expensive. Especially we were expecting card to have no fee for foreign transactions. This card can provide some advantages to you for first 12 months. However after 12 months later, things are going to be more expensive for you.

You will need to ensure that you spend much for these categories: car rental, eating out, ordering in, gas, rideshares, transit, flights, hotels, home stays. Wells Fargo Propel the card doesn’t worth it.

Wells Fargo Propel Worth It?

I believe that this is not a bard card at all. However with current interest rates and feels, if you are not earning enough, this card can be a serious problem for you to pay debts. We recommend you to calculate your expenditure and rewards. You can also ask our support to make calculation for you. You can leave a comment below for this.
